What equipment do you use?

We shoot with Canon XH-A1 prosumer-grade camcorders, which are known for their performance in low-light conditions as well as their sharp, high-quality images. We also use a Canon Vixia HF S10 occasionally as a secondary or tertiary camera. For audio, we use a combination of a RØDE NTG-2 condenser shotgun microphone along with an AT-897 condenser microphone for on-board sound, with a Sennheiser EW-112p g3 wireless lavalier microphone system (with a Audio-Technica Pro 88W wireless lavalier available as backup). We capture either to miniDV tapes or our Firestore FS-5. Our editing is done on Apple iMacs using Final Cut Studio 2, the cutting edge in video editing technology. We publish DVDs in DVD Studio Pro, and Blu-rays with Adobe Encore, from the Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 family. Finally, to make our breath-taking covers and labels, we use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
